My story
Hi, I'm Marcio! I'm a Brazilian Software and Machine Learning Engineer currently conducting full-time explorations on agentic AI and self-learning orchestration through Aya Tecnologia.
Before that, I was a Senior Software Engineer at ReclameAQUI handling 21M monthly active users, where I also work as a ML Engineer and built an audit system with 92% accuracy.
I’m usually tinkering with projects across AI, game development, and technical education. I previously made it to the Y Combinator finals with Wanna Migrate — living in Chile for two months and scaling the platform to 15k users—and created Maranhão Encantado, a game recognized by Embratur’s Brasil tá pra Game. I also love teaching computer science fundamentals, having mentored over 40 engineers in data structures and algorithms for Big Tech interviews.
Growing up in Maranhão, I was always driven by a deeply curious mind. During my Computer Science degree at UFMA, I earned an ITU IPTV honorable mention for ChessNCL and broke a longstanding university "voodoo" by leading the first team from UFMA to reach the ACM ICPC national finals twice.
I don't view life as a 9-to-5. Outside of engineering, you’ll usually find me surfing, hanging out with friends, traveling to disconnect, or immersing myself in everything samba—most recently learning to play the pandeiro and dance Samba de Gafieira. I'm deeply passionate about philosophy, reading, and life reflection, always seeking new knowledge to feed the flame of my curiosity.
